She will join Mikayla Tan, Daniela Linares Danzos and Reina Liu on The Farm as a member of the Cardinal’s Class of 2032.
Regarding her commitment, she said:
“I am very excited to humbly announce my verbal commitment to continue my academic and athletic career at Stanford University! First, a big thank you to my family for always being there to support me in everything I do. Thank you to Coach Kyle, Coach Mike, and the entire Canyons Aquatics coaching staff for helping me grow throughout my life. Another thanks to my teammates and friends for being there for me throughout the whole process. A huge thank you to Coach Chris, Coach Annie, and Coach Marcus for giving me the opportunity to join the cardinal family. GO CARD! 🌲❤️”
Hussein, who does her club swimming with Canyons Aquatic Club, raced six events at Summer Nationals in July before placing fifth in the 400m IM, sixth in the 50m fly and ninth in the 200m IM at Junior Nationals in August. She finished fourth in the 400 IM at Juniors West last December and won that event at Oceanside Speedo Sectionals in February.

Stanford finished second at the 2026 Atlantic Coast Conference Championships and second at the 2026 NCAA Championships. The Cardinal has won 12 national titles, the most of any program.
