World Aquatics Announces 2027 High Diving World Cup Schedule

World Aquatics last week announced the schedule for the 2027 High Diving World Cup circuit, which builds to the World Championships in Budapest.

The tour will feature stops in Fort Lauderdale, Fla., on April 10-11 and Porto Flavia, Italy, on June 12-13. Both were part of the 2026 tour. The 2027 qualification campaign also includes third and final stop of the 2026 season, set for November in Zhaoqing, China.

“The World Aquatics High Diving World Cup continues to grow in stature, and confirming Fort Lauderdale and Porto Flavia as our stops for the forthcoming season gives athletes two outstanding venues on the road to Budapest 2027,” World Aquatics President Husain Al Musallam said in a press release. “This competition is renowned for bringing together some of the world’s most talented high divers to captivate audiences with extraordinary creativity and artistry. Against the backdrop of some of the world’s most spectacular venues, we are confident the sport will once again deliver unforgettable moments and high-stakes drama in 2027.”

Divers on the circuit will return to mainstay venues in South Florida in a pool setting and the coast of Sardinia.

“We’re thrilled to welcome the World Aquatics High Diving World Cup back to Fort Lauderdale to open the 2027 season,” USA Diving president Lee Michaud said. “Our community embraced this event in 2026, and we can’t wait to bring the same energy as the world’s best high divers return to South Florida in April.”

Athletes seeking to qualify for World Championships must compete in at least one World Cup event in both 2026 and 2027. The high diving competition at the World Aquatics Championships in Budapest will take place July 8-11, 2027.
