ORLANDO- Melanie Margalis is living the pro swimmer life and loving it. She is still training at the University of Georgia and recently took part in a fashion internship. Margalis tells Swimming World her concluding thoughts on her weekend of racing, the perks of being a pro, and what’s changed in her post-grad life. This weekend Margalis was top three in the 100 breast, 400 I.M., 200 I.M., and 200 breast. Tonight she was touched out by Caitlin Leverenz (2:11.4) in the 200 I.M., but showed respectable mid-season speed with a 2:11.68.
