USA Swimming Pro Series Action for 2026 Just Around the Corner at University of Texas

Less than a week remains in 2025, so let’s look ahead to the first major competition of the next year. Just two weeks into the New Year, the USA Swimming Pro Series will get underway, with action slated for Jan. 14-17 at the University of Texas. The meet is one of four Pro Series stops scheduled for 2026, with visits to Westmont (Ill.), Sacramento and Indianapolis also on the schedule.

The Pro Series meets have annually served as high-level racing opportunities for some of the top athletes in the sport, and the chance for rising swimmers to further develop their skills while sharing a deck with major names. This past year, the Fort Lauderdale stop of the Pro Series tour featured world records from Katie Ledecky in the 800 freestyle and Gretchen Walsh in the 100 butterfly.

Because the first Pro Series competition of 2026 is being held at the Jamail Swim Center in Austin, the likes of Leon Marchand, Summer McIntosh, Regan Smith, Hubert Kos, Carson Foster, Shaine Casas, Luke Hobson, Simone Manuel and others are likely to log their first action of 2026.

Pro Series Dates

  • Austin (Jan. 14-17)
  • Westmont (March 4-7)
  • Sacramento (May 20-23)
  • Indianapolis (June 17-20)
