USA Swimming Announces 2026 Pan Pacific Championships Roster

USA Swimming, the National Governing Body of the sport of swimming in the United States, today announced its pool roster for the 2026 Pan Pacific Championships, which takes place August 12-15, 2026, in Irvine, California.

“It was exciting to watch this roster come together across five competitions this summer, and it will be great for these athletes to represent our country on home soil next August,” said USA Swimming National Team Managing Director Greg Meehan. “Selecting the team from results this summer allows these athletes and their coaches to train and prepare for one primary competition in the summer of ’26. I’m confident in this team as we look ahead to Irvine, which will be the first senior international competition on U.S. soil since 2010. This meet should play a huge role in the lead up to a home Olympics in LA28.”

Six women, including Kate Douglass (Pelham, N.Y./University of Virginia) and Torri Huske (Arlington, Va./Arlington Aquatic Club), qualify for the team in four different events. Leading the men’s roster is a quartet of swimmers, including Shaine Casas (McAllen, Texas/Longhorn Aquatics) and Bobby Finke (Clearwater, Fla./Gator Swim Club), who qualify for the team in three events.

All but five athletes—Katie Ledecky (Bethesda, Md./Gator Swim Club), Simone Manuel (Sugar Land, Texas/Longhorn Aquatics), Regan Smith (Lakeville, Minn./Longhorn Aquatics), Michael Andrew (Encinitas, Calif./Sun Devil Swimming), and Finke—will be making their Pan Pacific Championships debut, as the competition makes its return for the first time since 2018. The roster selection also marks the first senior-level, international team for Kennedi Dobson (Levittown, Pa./Eastern Express Swim Team), Rylee Erisman (Windermere, Fla./Windermere Laker Aquatics), Van Mathias (Portland, Ore./Indiana Swim Club), and Skyler Smith (San Jose, Calif./North Carolina Aquatic Club).

The roster was comprised based on results of the 2025 World Aquatics Championships, World Aquatics Junior Championships, World University Games, Toyota National Championships, and TYR Summer Championships. Thirty-two international medalists from this past summer make the Pan Pacific Championships team, as well as 15 athletes age 20 and under.
