USA Men’s Water Polo To Host Australia in Two-Game January Series

The USA men’s water polo team will host Australia for two games in January to start 2026.

The U.S. and the Aussies will square off Jan. 10 at the Woollett Aquatics Center at Irvine, Calif., at 6 p.m. PT and Jan. 11 at Mt. San Antonio College in Walnut, Calif. Tickets are on sale now. Both matches will be livestreamed by overnght.com with live stats at 6-8sports.com.

The teams met in the quarterfinals of the 2024 Olympics in Paris, the U.S. prevailing on the way to a bronze medal. Team USA finished eighth at the 2025 World Aquatics Championships.

Australia will host the 2026 World Aquatics World Cup in Sydney in July. The Sharks went 0-3 in their group at Worlds in Singapore last year, finishing in 13th place in the tournament.
