LOS ANGELES, CA. – The CG Sports Company announced today that their client, 2-time U.S. Olympian Jordan Wilimovsky, has signed a multi-year deal with THEMAGIC5, the world’s first custom-fit goggle company. This is the THEMAGIC5’s first sponsorship with a U.S. Olympic swimmer.

Wilimovsky, who was the first person named to the 2021 U.S. Olympic swim team, has qualified for the Tokyo Games in the 10K open-water race. He will attempt to add pool events to his Olympic schedule at the USA Swimming Olympic Trials in Omaha, Nebraska, in June, where the top two finishers in each race will earn a spot on the team.

“I’m stoked to add THEMAGIC5 to my exclusive goggle partner as we head toward the Olympic Games this summer,” Wilimovsky says. “Between the crisp optics and custom fit of my goggles and my high-tech performance suits, I’m set with a winning combination.”

THEMAGIC5 goggles are built to stay put in the toughest of circumstances, including the open ocean and the Olympic finals. For Wilimovsky, that translates to confidence in the water.

“I know I can trust my MAGIC5 goggles to not leak and to stay fitted properly, which is exactly what I’m looking for, especially during a long open-water race,” Wilimovsky says. “Plus, it’s great to be able to see all my competition. That’s why I love the clarity and peripheral vision of my MAGIC5.”

THEMAGIC5 uses technology unlike any other goggle company. Its app takes thousands of precise measurements of a swimmer’s face to create goggles with a custom fit. Gaskets and nose pieces are individually tailored to eliminate common swimming frustrations like goggle leaks and facial discomfort caused by poor fit or too much suction.

Then, 3D printing of the lenses and direct-to-consumer sales allow the goggles to be made and sold at a price comparable to mass-produced competitors, creating a comfortable and high-performance swimming experience for all.

“At THEMAGIC5, we are proud to be able to work with an athlete like Jordan, who is a great testament to our product and team. We can’t wait to get to work with Jordan and expand our effort to make the swimming experience better for everyone, from Olympic athletes to recreational swimmers,” says company co-founder Rasmus Barfred.
