The final day of the Dutch Championships featured a pair of victories from Tessa Giele, who beat the competition in the women’s 50-meter backstroke and 100 butterfly. Giele opened the last session of the four-day meet by winning the 50 backstroke in 27.53, which was one of two performances under the 28-second barrier. Giele was followed to the wall by Maaike de Waard, who recorded a time of 27.87.

Giele returned to the pool later in the night to claim top honors in the 100 butterfly, thanks to a performance of 57.35. Giele was out in 26.72 and came home in 30.63 to defeat runnerup Femke Spiering (59.91) by more than two seconds.

One day after winning the 200 breaststroke, Corbeau topped the field in the 100 breast behind a time of 59.80. That effort was the only sub-minute performance, as runnerup Koen de Groot went 1:00.35.
