Social Kick Podcast Provides Unique Wrap Up on NCAA Men’s Championships (Video)

The guys from the Social Kick Podcast have continued to deliver sensational interviews and analysis via their YouTube channel, and the latest content is unique in nature. Hosts Luke Paddington, Dr. John Mullen and Bryan Lundquist recently conducted a wrap of the NCAA Men’s Championships, which yielded the 16th team title for the University of Texas. The Longhorns’ latest championship arrived over a familiar foe, as Cal finished in the runnerup position.

In the Social Kick recap show, the hosts welcomed three guests for discussion, creating three-team representation. Texas was represented by sophomore Will Modglin, who scored 23 individual points for the Longhorns and led off the victorious 200 medley relay. Meanwhile, Cal was repped by Yamato Okadome, who shined in the breaststroke events for the Golden Bears. Also joining the show was Florida’s Jonny Marshall, who was the runnerup in the 100 backstroke and will compete at this week’s British Championships in London. Marshall was a 2024 Olympian for Great Britain.

This year’s NCAA Championships, which were held at the King County Aquatic Center in Washington, marked the end of athletes competing with an extra year of eligibility due to the COVID-19 pandemic. It also marked the 15th consecutive season in which Cal has finished as either the champion or runnerup in the team standings.

Swimming World is thrilled to partner with the Social Kick Podcast to provide fans around the world with superb interviews with some of the sport’s biggest names.
