Men’s 200 freestyle

It’s Texas’ event, and while the depth isn’t quite there, the top-end speed is, with four total swimmers undercutting the pool record at Gabrielsen Natatorium. Chris Guliano will get his name up there, setting the pace in 1:30.31, but NCAA champion Luke Hobson is not far behind in 1:30.76.

Alabama’s Charlie Hawke takes the third seed in 1:30.84, .01 up no Tomas Koski of Georgia. Jordan Crooks is fifth.

Texas’ depth isn’t quite there: Coby Carrozza, in 10th, was third among the Longhorns, with Manning Haskal and Camden Taylor sneaking into the B final.
