(Race Video) Sarah Sjostrom Pops a 24.22 in 50 Free in Sweden

Sarah Sjostrom, who already leads the world with a 24.17 from the Austin stop of the Arena Pro Swim Series, won the women’s 50-meter free in 24.22 as the second-best time in the world this year at the 2016 Swedish Open in Stockholm.
Aliaksandra Herasimenia placed second in 24.71, just off her sixth-ranked season best of 24.70. Â Therese Alshammar took third in 24.96.
Viktoria Zeynep Gunes moved from eighth in the world to sixth with a 2:23.97 in the women’s 200-meter breast. Â Jenna Laukkanen took second in 2:27.24 with Jessica Eriksson snaring third in 2:29.22.
Frederico Turrini jumped to 10th in the world rankings with a 4:17.45 in the men’s 400-meter IM. Â Adam Paulsson took second in 4:20.33 with Henrik Christiansen earning third in 4:20.34. Christiansen’s time is a new Norwegian record.
Margherita Panziera of Italy claimed the women’s 200-meter back with a 14th-ranked time of 2:09.76. Â Anastasiia Fesikova placed second in 2:10.48 with Eyglo Osk Gustafsdottir finishing third in 2:11.06.
Viktoriia Andreeva won the women’s 200-meter IMÂ in a time of 2:12.19. Â Stina Gardell took second in 2:13.92, while Simona Baumrtova finished third in 2:14.45.
Andrey Grechin topped the men’s 100-meter free with a 49.18. Â Isak Eliasson placed second in 49.39 to break the Swedish junior national record. Â Ari-Pekka Liukkonen snagged third in 49.61.
Simon Sjodin captured the men’s 200-meter fly title in 1:57.43, just off his 10th-ranked season best of 1:57.14.  Evgeny Koptelov took second in 1:58.16 with Stefanos Dimitriadis earning third in 1:59.43.
Apostolos Christou claimed the men’s 100-meter back title in 54.59. Â Tomasz Polewka finished second in 55.73 with Matteo Milli earning third in 55.80.
Chiara Masini Luccetti hit the wall in 4:11.64 to win the women’s 400-meter free. Â Paula Zukowska placed second in 4:14.68 with Susanna Negri taking third in 4:16.50.
Viktoriia Andreeva won the 200 IM, not the 200 breast. New Norwegian record for Henrik Christiansen in the 400 IM, by the way.
