Poolside Passport: Meet Breaststroke Star Eneli Jefimova of Estonia … and N.C. State

Initially started on the Swimming World social-media channels, Poolside Passport is now part of our website coverage, too. Our latest edition features Estonia’s Eneli Jefimova, one of the world’s top breaststrokers who competes collegiately for North Carolina State.
Jefimova was the gold medalist in the 100-meter breaststroke at the 2024 European Championships. Last year, she flourished for the Wolfpack at the NCAA Championships, claiming victory in the 100-yard breaststroke and handling the breaststroke leg on a pair of top-five medley relays. Jefimova is heading into her sophomore year in Raleigh, with N.C. State coming off a ninth-place finish at the NCAA Champs.
