Park Tae-hwan won his second event in as many days at tonight’s day two finals of the Korean Olympic Trials. Park stopped the clock in 1:46.31 to win the men’s 200 freestyle by nearly four seconds. This time is the seventh best in the world so far this year. But, after the Korean Olympic Committee upheld its ruling earlier this month, Park will be unable to compete in Rio.

Gim Jeong Hye won the women’s 200 freestyle in new meet record time, touching in 2:00.68.

Choegyuung set a new meet record in the men’s 100 breaststroke, finishing the event in 1:01.89, ahead of teammate Sinh Younggeun in 1:02.42. Gimdal Is won the women’s 100 breaststroke from lane one with a 1:09.85.

Kim Seo-yeong set the women’s 200 IM meet record as she won the event in 2:13.18.

Jeon Seong Min won the men’s 50 butterfly in 24.00, a new meet record. Anse Hyun set the South Korean record in the women’s 50 butterfly in 26.30.
