Katinka Hosszu Scales Back Schedule on Day 2 of FINA World Cup Moscow

A day after winning two golds at the 2015 FINA World Cup Moscow, Katinka Hosszu scaled back her second day of swimming with just three finals set up for tonight.

Hosszu qualified to swim in the 100 back (1:02.08), 400 free (4:12.11) and 100 free (55.18) with the latter two being the top seeds heading into this evening.

Meanwhile, the Americans turned up the heat by claiming four top seeds heading into tonight.

USA’s Breeja Larson (30.56) and Katie Meili (31.49) qualified 1-2 in the women’s 50 breaststroke.

USA’s Nic Fink (1:00.33) and Cody Miller (1:00.83) earned the top two spots in the men’s 100 breaststroke.

USA’s Tim Phillips turned in a top time of 51.92 in the men’s 100-meter fly, while USA’s Cammile Adams put up a 2:09.12 to lead the women’s 200-meter fly.

Defending 2014 FINA World Cup champion Chad le Clos also picked up a final spot as he qualified fourth in the men’s 100 fly (52.84) as he is pursuing a more relaxed schedule here in Moscow.
