Hunter Armstrong, Shaine Casas Will Celebrate Sport as Guests at ORCAs
The ORCAs are taking shape for 2026, and today we’re thrilled to announce two major names in USA Swimming joining us in St. Petersburg: Hunter Armstrong and Shaine Casas. Both athletes have made their mark on the international stage, and their presence at the event adds even more excitement to a weekend built around celebrating the spirit of swimming.
Two-time Olympian and three-time Olympic medalist Hunter Armstrong, known for his explosive speed and world-record performances in backstroke, brings a blend of talent, energy, and leadership that inspires swimmers of all ages. 2024 Olympian and American Record Holder Shaine Casas, one of the sport’s most versatile and electric performers, continues to captivate audiences with his racing range and fearless competitive style. Together, they represent the excellence, creativity, and drive that the ORCAs aim to honor.
Set for April 16–18, 2026, the ORCAs celebrate the athletes, coaches, clubs, and community leaders who lift our sport from its earliest moments. At its core, the ORCAs are about bringing the entire swimming world together. It’s a full-circle moment for the elite athletes in attendance, many of whom grew up dreaming on pool decks just like the ones our young swimmers stand on today. Their presence reminds us that greatness grows from community, mentorship, and the shared love of the sport.
The ORCAs honor that entire journey. They shine a light on the heart of swimming: the people, the passion, and the connections that make this sport feel like home.
Having Hunter and Shaine join us adds even more momentum to an event already filled with celebration, connection, and inspiration. More athlete announcements will follow in the coming months, but for now, we couldn’t be more excited to welcome these two standouts to St. Petersburg.
