Greg Meehan to Deliver Keynote Address at 2026 ASCA World Clinic

Greg Meehan, the National Team Director of USA Swimming, has been announced as the keynote speaker for the 2026 ASCA World Clinic Presented by Fitter & Faster Swim Camps, set for September 9-12 in Orlando.

Meehan joins an impressive lineup that includes Bill Dorenkott, David Marsh, Russell Mark, Jonty Skinner, Kim Brackin, Mike DeBoor, Gregg Troy, Leah Stancil, Laura Mitchell and more than 40 additional speakers.

Complete event information, registration details, and the growing speaker lineup can be found at www.ascaworldclinic.com.

Meehan spent 13 seasons at Stanford University, guiding the Cardinal women’s team to three NCAA champions and mentoring Olympic and World Champions like Katie Ledecky, Simone Manuel and Torri Huske. He was the women’s head coach for the U.S. team at the Tokyo Olympics in 2021.

The 2026 World Clinic theme, “Grassroots to Podium: It Starts With Us,” highlights the critical role coaches play at every stage of athlete development—from introducing young swimmers to the sport to guiding athletes to collegiate, international, and Olympic success.

The 2026 ASCA World Clinic will feature more than 60 educational and networking sessions covering various aspects of the sport. Here is a sampling of the dozens of presentations offered throughout the four-day clinic:

  • Teaching the Swim Stroke from the Inside Out — Andy Potts
  • Leveraging IMX Scores for Long-Term Athlete Success — Emilly Laurent
  • Learning and the Neurodiverse Brain — Dr. Alicia Braccia, Psy.D., ABSNP
  • The Changing Collegiate Landscape — Michael Norment
  • Contrast Training: Developing Force, Feel, and Flow in Swimming — Margo Geer
  • Building a Strong Coach-Board Partnership — Mike DeBoor
  • Coaching Your 8 & Under Wonders — MacKenzie Novell

The event also includes extra paid small group sessions with Herbie Behm and Gregg Troy, the ASCA Hall of Fame ceremony, where Tim Hill and Dave Gibson will be inducted; annual awards celebrations; parties and social events; exhibits from swim industry partners; and certification opportunities for coaches at every stage of their careers.

Registration is available online at ascaworldclinic.com.
