Double Olympic Champion Rebecca Adlington & Husband Andrew Parsons Welcome Daughter Thea Joy

Double Olympic champion Rebecca Adlington and husband Andrew Parsons have announced the birth of their daughter Thea Joy.

Adlington shares son Albie with Parsons and daughter Summer, 10, with ex-husband and former swimmer Harry Needs.

The four-time Olympic medallist revealed her pregnancy in September and described herself as “cautiously overjoyed” after suffering two miscarriages and struggling to conceive.

Taking to social media on Sunday, she posted: “Thea Joy Parsons. Our family is complete 💜”

Two-time Olympic silver medallist Jazz Carlin and quadruple Olympic champion Libby Trickett were among those to send messages of congratulations.
