The Big Ten Conference announced its weekly swimming and diving awards.

Big Ten Women’s Swimmer of the Week

Bella Sims, Michigan  

Jr. – Henderson, Nev. 

  • Won the 200-yard backstroke and the 200-yard freestyle against Northwestern and UCLA with times of 1:51.26 and 1:41.43, respectively
  • Last Michigan Swimmer of the Week: Maggie MacNeil (Jan. 19, 2022)

Big Ten Women’s Diver of the Week

Ella Roselli, Indiana

Jr. – Newport Beach, Calif. 

  • Swept springboard events to help Indiana defeat Kentucky, 187.5-112.5
  • Earned NCAA Zone Qualifying scores on both boards
  • Won the 1-meter by 17.1 points with a score of 306.00
  • Won the 3-meter by 22.95 points with a score of 324.08
  • Last Indiana Diver of the Week: Kaylee Bishop (Oct. 1, 2025)

Big Ten Women’s Freshman of the Week  

Liberty Clark, Indiana

Chico, Calif.

  • Won two individual events, one relay and finished second in another individual event to help Indiana defeat Kentucky, 187.5-112.5
  • Won the 100 butterfly by 1.06 seconds with a time of 54.48
  • Won the 200 IM by 2.75 seconds with a time of 1:59.94
  • Helped Indiana win the 200-medley relay (1:41.20) with the second-fastest breaststroke split (29.15)
  • Finished second in the 100 backstroke with a time of 54.63
  • Last Indiana Freshman of the Week: Liberty Clark (Oct. 15, 2025)

Big Ten Men’s Swimmer of the Week

Raekwon Noel, Indiana

So. – Blackwood, N.J. 

  • Won four events, three individual and one relay, in Indiana’s 199-101 victory over Kentucky
  • Touched first in the 100 butterfly (47.47), the only time under 48 seconds
  • Swept the backstroke events, winning the 100 backstroke by 1.9 seconds with a time of 46.96
  • Led the Hoosiers’ 1-2-3 finish in the 200 back, winning by 1.6 seconds with a time of 1:45.22
  • Helped Indiana win the 200-medley relay (1:27.66) with the fastest leadoff split (21.76)
  • Last Indiana Swimmer of the Week: Zalán Sárkány (Oct. 15, 2025)

Big Ten Men’s Diver of the Week

Josh Hedberg, Indiana

Fr. – Noblesville, Ind.  

  • Won 1-meter springboard and finished second on 3-meter to help Indiana defeat Kentucky, 199-101
  • Led 1-2-3 Indiana finish on 1-meter with a score of 344.55
  • Finished second on 3-meter with a score of 372.98
  • Recorded NCAA Zone Qualifying scores on both boards
  • Last Indiana Diver of the Week: Quinn Henninger (Jan. 15, 2025)

Big Ten Men’s Freshman of the Week 

Luka Mladenovic, Michigan

Salzburg, Austria  

  • Swept the breaststroke events against Northwestern, posting NCAA zone qualifying times of 51.86 and 1:53.88 in the 100 and 200-yard events, respectively
  • Won both relay events to bolster the Wolverines dual meet win against the Wildcats
  • Last Michigan Freshman of the Week: Jon Jontvedt (Jan. 22, 2025)
