Although the first two clusters of the 2015 FINA World Cup tour were a bit sparse when it came to the amount of talent assembled, 2015 FINA World Cup Tokyo will feature a much different story to begin the third cluster of swimming.

The Americans will definitely be in Tokyo in full force with Anthony Ervin set to do battle in the sprint events. Kevin Cordes, who had a strong outing in Singapore, will continue on to compete in the breaststroke events as will Michael Andrew and Chuck Katis.

Natalie Coughlin will make an appearance in Tokyo as the top female headliner for the U.S., while Molly Hannis, Laura Sogar, Felicia Lee and Kate Mills are other American females looking to do damage in Japan.

Host Japan is the biggest reason for the injection of talent as the third cluster typically sees plenty of Japanese swimmers.  Ryosuke Irie, Kosuke Kitajima, Koseki Yasuhiro, Shinri Shioura, Katsumi Nakamura and Natsumi Hoshi are several of the top names slated to swim in Japan.

Series points leaders Cameron van der Burgh and Katinka Hosszu are both set for their standard schedules, while other World Cup veterans such as Emily Seebohm, Alia Atkinson and Zsuzsanna Jakabos will be in Tokyo as well.

Nathan Adrian originally had planned on competing at the Tokyo and Doha stops, but with the infusion of more prize money in the Arena Pro Swim Series, he decided to stay home and focus on the Minneapolis event.
