In the second night of competition, Wisconsin Aquatics took eight top three finishes—more than any other team. In the men’s 400 free relay, Wisconsin Aquatics took both first and second place, with times of 3:25.90 and 3:32.19, respectively.

Wisconsin Aquatics also had an excellent night in the men’s 200 freestyle and 100 backstroke. In the 200 freestyle, Sean Maloney took first (1:51.27), and his teammate Anthony Lyons followed with a 1:53.72. In the 100 backstroke, Brett Pinfold clocked a 55.38 to take first, and Todd McCarthy swam a 57.14 to take second.

The only upset of the night for the team was in the women’s 400 free relay, where Ozaukee Aquatics out-touched Wisconsin Aquatics for first place by a mere .08 seconds.

Ozaukee Aquatics’ Katie Drabot was a member of that relay, and also brought an individual win in the 200 freestyle (1:59.72). Reilly Lanigan of Northwestern took second with a 2:02.57, while Wisconsin Aquatics’ Danielle Valley finished third in a 2:03.76.

Ozaukee also had another first place finish in the 100 backstroke, where Autumn Haebig finished with a 1:02.43. University of Minnesota’s Katelyn Holmquist followed in a 1:03.34. Haebig’s teammate Lillie Hosack finished third with a 1:03.93.

The Academy Bullets saw success in the 400 IM. Alexis Preski finished first on the women’s side in 4:56.54. Riptide’s Lucia Rizzo (4:59.47) and Ozaukee’s Brianna Krupsky (4:59.76) also slid under five minutes. Joeseph Millinovich took the men’s event (4:26.14).  Scott Piper of Maverick Swim Club was second in 4:31.58 and Wisconsin’s Chris Wills finished third in 4:35.78.
