On the fourth and final night of the Santa Clara stop of the 2018 TYR Pro Swim Series, Tucson Ford’s Leah Smith swam to a second place finish in the women’s 400 free A final with a time of 4:04.72. Stanford’s Katie Ledecky swam a 4:00.51 to take the win in the heat.

Tonight Smith talked about her uncertainty of the exact events she will be swimming at this summer’s nationals and with an impressive 2:11.27 from yesterday’s 200 fly prelims, the decision becomes all the more difficult.

Smith also discussed feeling on track to make this summer’s Pan Pacs, next summer’s World Championships and gaining confidence racing Ledecky.
