TYR Pro Swim Series Mission Viejo: Curzan, Huske, Weitzeil Set for 50 Fly Battle

The women’s 50-meter butterfly at the TYR Pro Swim Series Mission Viejo meet brought out the stars Friday morning to set up what could be a thrilling final.

Elsewhere in the second of three prelims sessions:

That group includes a rehash of NCAAs in the sprint – Cal’s Robin Hanson second, followed by Gabriel Jett of Cal, Coby Carrozza of Texas, Jack Dahlgren of Missouri, Alabama’s Charlie Hawke, Arizona State’s Grant House and Cal’s Trenton Julian, eighth in 1:49.76. Baylor Nelson of Texas A&M was ninth, while Ryan Held finished 12th.
