Ever since Madisyn Cox tested positive for the banned substance, trimetazidine, last March, she’s been on an emotional roller coaster. Her initial two-year suspension by FINA was reduced to six months in early September by the Court of Arbitration for Sport after new evidence was presented. With her suspension reduced and now complete, Cox again has command over her own swimming destiny—all she ever wanted.
