Alexandra Norris Among More Trials Qualifiers at Speedo Sectionals Geneva

Alexandra Norris was among another strong set of Olympic Trials qualifiers today at the Speedo Sectionals in Geneva.

The top four swimmers in the men’s 100-meter back cleared the Olympic Trials cut of 57.19.  Bryce Bohman (55.55), Joseph Lane (56.46), James Beckman (56.83) and Kyle Maas (56.90) all cleared the cut.

Grace Haskett cleared the women’s 100-meter back Olympic Trials cut with a 1:02.99.  Rachel Matsumara (1:04.02) and Halime Zeren (1:04.08) finished second and third in the event.

Alexandra Norris just barely cleared the Trials cut in the women’s 400-meter free with a 4:17.91.  Diana Dunn (4:19.83) and Olivia Johnson (4:25.70) placed second and third.

Adam Destrampe picked up a Trials cut in the men’s 400-meter free with a 3:57.80.  Matt Anderson (3:58.92) and Andrej Ivanovic (4:02.63) claimed second and third.

Laura Lindsay hit the wall in 1:10.41 to beat the Trials cut in the women’s 100-meter breast.  Laura Morley (1:11.83) and Hanna Gresser (1:11.91) rounded out the top three.

Armand Apa clocked a 1:03.44 to post a Trials cut in the men’s 100-meter breast.  Jayson Hansen (1:03.92) and William Schrensky (1:04.31) took second and third.

Reagan Cook (2:16.92), Olivia Barker (2:18.77) and Nicole Pape (2:20.77) went 1-2-3 in the women’s 200-meter fly.

Matthew Jerden won the men’s 200-meter fly in 2:05.94 with Herbert Shackleton (2:07.34) and Bradley Gibble (2:08.08) finishing second and third.
