(VIDEO INTERVIEW) Grant Shoults Shows off His Date on the Golden Goggles Red Carpet

Grant Shoults talked to the media on Monday night at the 2018 Golden Goggles in New York City about this being his first Golden Goggles awards show and how he is enjoying the city.

Shoults also took the time to show off his date Sammy Gallagher.

Shoults is coming off a summer where he made his first major international team by his second place finish in the 400 free at Nationals in July. That also earned him a spot on the 2019 World Championships team next summer in Korea.

Shoults is currently in his junior year at Stanford, where he is one of the favorites to win the 500 freestyle at NCAA’s in 2019. Shoults has been an A-Finalist the last two years in the event and is looking to break through. He is also looking to lead Stanford to its first top four finish at NCAA’s since 2012.
