Swim Poll of the Week: How Often Does Your Coach Give You Technique Instruction During Practice?

swim-poll

This is the Swim Poll of the Week for Monday, December 28, 2020, sponsored by Strechcordz Swim Training Products. In our last poll, we wanted to know: How often does y0ur coach give you technique instruction during practice?

Coaches are designed to help swimmers improve in the water and to get from one end of the pool to another as quickly and efficient as possible. Good technique is an important fundamental to implement when swimmers are young and haven’t hit puberty yet. Preferably around ages 8 – 10-years-old, technique is the main focus on swimmers whereas aerobic training is more of the focus as the swimmers move up in age from 11 – 12. But technique is always an importance, although it may take a back seat to aerobic base training or efforts or race strategy during a set.

So we wanted to ask our audience how often their coach gives them technique instruction during practice?
