Kentucky graduate Asia Seidt announced her retirement from the sport of swimming, thanking her family and friends for always supporting her goals. The reigning U.S. national champion in the 200 back wrote, “Even though my career was cut short, my heart will forever be happy, knowing that swimming will always be a part of me and who I am.”

And with a built-in adventure of swimming open water in the Pacific Ocean, the trio of All-Americans from the University of Michigan feel they made the better choice.
