Freestyler Lexi Fok of Orinda Aquatics Selects Pepperdine

NEW COMMIT: Moraga, California native Alexis “Lexi” Fok will remain in-state for her college career after she committed to Pepperdine University beginning in the fall of 2022.

She told Swimming World:

“I’m so excited to announce my verbal commitment to study and swim at Pepperdine! Thank you to my family, friends, teammates, and coaches for all your support. Go Waves!”

Primarily a sprint freestyler, Fok does her club swimming with Orinda Aquatics and finaled in the 400m free at Roseville Sectionals this past summer after taking 16th in both the 200m and 400m free at the Arena Grand Challenge. Last winter, she was a two-time finalist at St. George Sectionals in the 100/200 free.

Her best times include:

  • 50 free – 24.50
  • 100 free – 52.70
  • 200 free – 1:54.07
  • 500 free – 5:08.34
  • 100 back – 59.39

Also competing for Campolindo High School, Fok raced to ninth in both the 100 and 200 free at the CIF North Coast Section Championships during her freshman season.

Under head coach Ellie Monobe, the Wave were the runners-up at the 2021 Pacific Collegiate Swimming Championships.
