Adam Peaty and Katya Jones Samba to Strong Score on Reality Dancing Show

Adam Peaty is on a roll on the dance floor, as he posted another strong performance with partner Katya Jones on “Strictly Come Dancing,” the BBC reality television show on which he has starred during the fall. One week after he and Jones excelled in the Argentine tango, the duo shined during their samba, scoring 29 points from the judges.

Dressed in jeans and a white t-shirt, Peaty once again treated his fans to an enjoyable performance, as he continued his strong partnership with Jones. Peaty was lauded by the judges for his hip movement and social media also celebrated the latest performance of the two-time Olympic champion in the 100-meter breaststroke. Peaty will learn whether he advances to the next week of competition during Sunday’s results show.

Following the Olympic Games in Tokyo, where Peaty repeated as the gold medalist in the 100 breaststroke, Peaty helped Great Britain to the gold medal and a world record in the mixed 400 medley relay. He also handled the breaststroke leg on the British 400 medley relay that won the silver medal. Due to his participation in the reality dancing show, Peaty has bypassed the current season of the International Swimming League.
