2019 NAIA Championships Day 1: SCAD, Keiser Win Relays

The Savannah College of Art and Design took the lead after the first day of the 2019 NAIA National Championships.

DAY 1 RESULTS

Women’s 800 Free Relay

It started in the 800 free relay when Spencer Sheridan, Shayna Salzman, Sarah Dostie and Julie Menninger won the event in 7:32.57, nearly four seconds ahead of runner-up University of the Cumberlands (7:36.36).

Keiser was third (7:39.94), followed by Olivet Nazarene (7:45.55).

Men’s 800 Free Relay

Keiser University’s Marcel Nagy, Csaba Vekony, Konstantin Byschnev and Pol Roch won the men’s 800 free relay in 6:39.60.

SCAD finished second in 6:43.32, followed by Olivet Nazarene (6:48.75).
