While in Rhode Island to stream the Swimming World Fall Classic, Swimming World caught up with a few of the top performers of the weekend. Watch their video interviews below.

Bluefish’s Will Barao swept the 50 through 500 freestyles, and he explained his training alongside River Wright and Harry Homans under coach Chuck Batchelor.

Abby Martin explained how she has seen Bluefish Swim Club evolve over the years and how she has grown into a leader on the team. She also explained the emotions of advancing to new levels within the sport.

Bluefish 11-12 boys Ty Lutz, Landon Him and Erik Watka all posted wins on the weekend and discussed training together and competing against each other.

Seacoast’s Gianna Spremullo won the 200 IM and 100 back Saturday and then broke Elizabeth Beisel’s pool record in the 200 back Sunday.

Bluefish’s Ella Smith, Ava Larkin and Aislin Farris each won multiple events as they combined to dominate the 11-12 girls events.
