SwimMAC Carolina Makes Statement on Night Three of Atlanta Futures

SwimMAC Carolina had five swimmers finish in the top three tonight at Atlanta Futures.

In the Women’s 200 Fly, Lexington Dolphins’ Rachel Klinker won in 2:16.30. In second was Erica Laning of Tennessee Aquatics in 2:16.99, followed by Marlins of Raleigh’s Ashley Worden in 2:17.76.

In the men’s race, AquaKids Sharks Swim Team’s Luke Smutny took first with a 2:01.83. Mason Wilby of Gator Swim Club was second in 2:02.50 and Gregory Lombana of Marlins of Raleigh was third in 2:03.72.

Talia Bates of Gator Swim Club dominated the 50 Free in 25.90. She was followed by Olwyn Bartis of SwimMAC Carolina in 26.43 and Kathleen Golding of South Florida Aquatic Club in 26.45.

Raphael Marcoux of Swim Fort Lauderdale took first in the men’s 50, finishing in 23.61. In second was William Tarvestad of Triton Swimming in 23.64 and in third was John Walker of SwimMAC Carolina in 23.82.

Danielle Delatorre of Athens Bulldog Swim Club dominated the 200 Breast in 2:32.46. In second was Jane Donahue of SwimMAC Carolina in 2:36.41. Addie Farrington of Dynamo Swim Club followed closely, finishing third in 2:36.53.

Jack Dalmolin of Chatahoochee Gold Swim Club won the men’s race in 2:21.45. Joseph Hampel of Owensboro Marlin Swimming finished second in 2:21.90 and Lucas Johnson of SwimMAC Carolina took third in 2:22.57.

In the Women’s 100 Back, Evie Bragg of Dynamo Swim Club took gold in 1:03.17. SwimMAC Carolina’s Sinclair Larson finished second in 1:03.3. Huntsville Swim Association’s Sarah Cimino and Gator Swim Club’s Bates tied for third in 1:03.64.

Tennessee Aquatics’ Alec Connolly won the Men’s 100 Back in 58.17. Tyler Silver of Marlins of Raleigh took second in 58.26, while his teammate Connor Blandford took third in 58.33.

The evening concluded with the 400 Free, where Tac Titans’ Ana Pozder won the women’s race in 4:15.96. In second was South Florida Aquatic Club’s Golding in 4:19.38. Emma Layton of Dynamo Swim Club finished third in 4:20.10.

Hayden Curley of Highlander Aquatic Club won the Men’s 400 Free in 4:00.69. Jackson Gunning of Stingrays posted a 4:01.31 to finish second and William Tarvestad of Triton Swimming finished in 4:02.28 to finish third.
