Abby Steketee will step down as head coach of the Northwestern Women’s Swimming & Diving program, the University announced on Wednesday.

“We’re extremely thankful to Abby and Steve for their contributions to the program over the last three years,” said Vice President for Athletics & Recreation Jim Phillips. “Our Northwestern family wishes them nothing but the best moving forward.”

“It has been an honor to lead this group of women,” said Steketee. “I’m proud of the gains we’ve made and am confident that the positive momentum of the program will continue. Steve and I are incredibly grateful for Northwestern and especially want to thank Dr. Phillips and his administrators.”

Northwestern will conduct a national search for the program’s next head coach.
