Division III Weekly Preview: Four Weeks Away From The Big Show

Just like in Division II, this is the last weekend for conference meets in Division III as everyone is finishing their season this weekend if they aren’t going to NCAA’s in four weeks. There are nine total conference meets in Division III this weekend.

NESCAC Men

CSCAA Ranked teams:

#9 Tufts men
#13 Amherst men
#15 Williams men

I mistakenly said the NESCAC men’s meet was last weekend but it was just a women’s meet last week. The NESCAC men will swim this week at Bowdoin starting Friday. This is basically the Division III Ivy League but it will still be a competitive conference with three top 15 teams in action.

The SCIAC meet will be a competitive meet between Pomona-Pitzer and Claremont-Mudd-Scripps as the two California schools will be doing battle. They also have not put suits on yet this season since they didn’t go to a mid-season invite, so they may put up some times that will put Division III on watch this weekend. MIT is the headliner on the weekend as the top 10 team on both sides is the class of the field at the NEWMAC championships that they are hosting.
